Who makes Newport Beach better?

A veteran. A teacher. A first responder. A neighbor with a generous heart. Read their stories, then tell us who deserves to be recognized.

Nominate a hero

How it works

You know the heroes. We’ll help celebrate them.

1. Nominate. Share who they are and what they’ve done for Newport Beach.
2. We review. Every story is read by a person before it’s published.
3. They’re honored. Approved heroes appear here, and one is chosen as Hero of the Month.

Who counts? Veteran · Teacher / Educator · Firefighter · Police Officer · First Responder / Nurse · Coach / Mentor · Volunteer · Good Neighbor · Small Business Owner · Youth (under 18).
